I've got to say...Iron Man made me feel something in a movie theatre that I haven't felt in a loooooong time. Get your minds out of the gutter! I'm talking about the sheer excitement that going to the movies was like for you when you were a little kid! Now, I'm an only child who grew up with a big influence from my dad. That meant a love of comic books, superheroes, and cartoons.
So needless to say I was pretty damn stoked for Iron Man.
I also have always been a fan of Robert Downey Jr., and couldn't wait for him to have his break out role. He just needed and second chance, and wow did he prove himself! Iron Man didn't have the slow ridiculous start as most Marvel movies do....there was no camera zooming through webs or diving through DNA strands. It was action from the get-go. The plot was amazing (a sense of patriotism that I found helpful with America not being too fond of itself lately), the actors were incredible, the characters well developed and with excellent senses of humor. I especially loved Tony Stark's robots in this lab. They supplied comic relief AND touched your heart (like they were cute little pets or something). I really haven't heard anyone bash this movie. Most other reviews I have read have always been positive. If anyone DID have anything to bad to say about it....well I'd just tell them to shut up because they don't know what they're talking about XP.
So far this movie is hands down the best of the summer...NO LIE!

I wonder if it will stay that way.....many are saying the Dark Knight....but I won't know till I compare the two.
