Tropic Thunder was an okay movie. Fortunately the amazing stars that were in it really carried it. Robert Downey Jr. was SUPER RAD as his character Kirk Lazarus. Ben Stiller was also very funny even though there was controversy about his character because HIS character played a retarded person. A lot of guest celebrities like Matthew McConaughey, Tom Cruise, Tobey Maguire, Lance Bass, and Jennifer Love Hewitt to name a few. I didn't think that Tom Cruise was as funny as everyone made him out to be. He just says the F word a lot and threatens people. Yes his dance is funny, but any famous actor in a fat suit dancing to a rap song would be funny. I love how crazy Ben Stiller goes in the jungle. Plus killing pandas is always great family movie fun.

1987 classic The Monster Squad was finally seen by me...today. For such an old movie, it had fresh humor mixed with the traditional movie monsters. What a classic. The monsters were wonderful! The costumes and make up design was fantastic for a 1987 movie. I mean dang, I wasn't even born yet!!!! The beagle dog was super cute! Plus (spoiler) I love how the army shows up after an unmarked note is sent to them written in crayon by a kiddy. It's hilarious. Anyways, I sure did enjoy it; old movies can still be good movies.
